Rakibul Islam is a Powerman duathlete. He won numerous podiums in local and international events. He is 2-time Powerman finisher with Podium in Powerman Asia Championship 2019.

He became champion in Glaxose-D Dhaka Half Marathon 2020, TeamBDC ITT Episode I-IV 2019, Sreemangal Duathlon Challenge 2019, Dhaka Challenge Duathlon 2017. He was awarded as the best performer in a multi-stage cycling race- Fortune Tour De Bangladesh 2017. At Delhi International Triathlon 2016, he was a podium finisher in the Duathlon category.
Rakibul has been instrumental in conducting AALPS Endurance Training sessions for over 3 years in 1200+ hours in 400 sessions. These structured training sessions were game-changers for many. Rakibul provides customized training plans to athletes and novice fitness enthusiasts.
Rakibul is graduated from the Department of Pharmacy, Jahangirnagar University Bangladesh and Post-graduated in Biotechnology from South Asian University New Delhi, India. He is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh for now. Iconic athlete Rakibul, a Pharmacist by profession, aspires to contest in Powerman World Championship in the elite category and to be a Coach alongside his journey.
